LUZON
RIZAL MONUMENT
The Rizal Monument is a national landmark and memorial located in Rizal Park in Manila, Philippines.
The monument was built to honor the memory of Dr. Jose Rizal, a Filipino nationalist, writer, and revolutionary who played a pivotal role in the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonial rule.
The monument was designed by a Swiss sculptor named Richard Kissling, and the construction was led by a Filipino engineer named Juan Arellano. The monument was unveiled on December 30, 1913, on the anniversary of Rizal's execution.

Campanario de Dumaguete, also known as the Dumaguete Belfry, is a historical landmark located in the city of Dumaguete in the Philippines. It is a bell tower that was constructed in the 1760s by the Augustinian Recollects, a religious order in the Philippines during the Spanish colonial period. The bell tower served as a watchtower to warn the locals of incoming attacks from Muslim pirates, which were common in the area at that time.
